When you finally realize the divine timing that brought you to where you are, is the same divine timing that will keep you going to where you need to go, you will already be where you are supposed to be.
Here she is. Isn’t she beautiful? She will be even more so once these seats and overheads have been replaced with my kitchen and bedrooms!

Looks like this could be a new day job.
Our friend Matt came over to talk HVAC.
Exploratory floor removal.
Ugh. Does anybody want to remove the bathroom?
Shopping at Coremark Metals in Minneapolis for steel to make walls and cabinet frames.
Two weeks later we went back and bought our steel! Love Coremark Metals!
When your AC removal is interrupted by visitors, your helpers make art.
Is it ridiculous that opening this box was as exciting for me now as it was when my sister and I got our Barbie Dreamhouse in 1984?
Subflooring waiting to have grooves routered in them.
Somebody took out the toilet! Thank God for Andy.
My new friend: The Router
Two sheets laid, glued, and screwed. Time for a soda. I finally found Buddy’s Grape, I just had to drive down to Minnetonka. Good thing I was already there buying marine vinyl for the walls!
Our view, looking to the East from inside the bus. Not a bad view while you work. Especially if you ignore the highway to the West, just on the other side of the gas station.
Turbo ❤
I let Andy cut my hair. Best cut I've ever had!
Wrapping cabinets and drawer fronts with vinyl wrap.
Fitting the wall for the fridge and pantry.

My last picture of my love. She passed over to the shadowlands about 8 hours after this photo. She wanted to die under the bus, but l couldn't let her. I was selfish. Andy had to start the bus and raise it up so I could crawl under the axle and get her out.
My friend
This is a beautiful Great Blue Heron. We interact almost daily when I walk around the lake. The north side of the lake is a minimum maintenance road. That means it is gravel, seldom traveled, and very beautiful. Also plentiful with Lake Superior Agates ❤
This lovely heron likes to scare me sometimes, I think it amuses him. Occasionally he lets me close and grants me permission take a picture, as long as I ask. If I don't ask he does this.
I tend to ask all creatures if I can take their picture. Sometimes they give me a very resounding yes, and I know they enjoy being admired. Sometimes they give me a very resounding no, and I say “Ok, thank you.” and keep walking.
They do occasionally change their minds when they realize you're going to respect their choice and leave.
Lake time - Break time
Andy uses his break time for naps, Connor and I use ours to go to the lake.
The road to peace
The Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge has actually become my refuge this summer. I've had so many changes happening, inside and out, that the Refuge has become one of the few places I can find enough peace to process. The animals have been very accomadating, and very supportive.
Moving Day
We took a short break from Minnesota and the bus to move our daughter, Alyson, half way across the country.
Moving Day
Home
I took this after we got back home from moving Alyson. This is the sun just rising on the east side of the bus…
Home
This is the moon just setting on the west side of the bus at the same time.
My girls
This is a picture of my girls.
This is the only thing allowed to hang on the refrigerator.
I lost them both about 2 weeks apart.
One of them was 18 and slowly fading. I am lost and my heart is broken.
One of them is 20 and starting a whole new life. I miss her, but am glad she left me before I could leave her. My heart is bruised, but healing.
Old cemeteries are my thing...
Davis
I wandered this tiny cemetary for an hour, reading all the stones, and somehow NEVER saw the one in the background.
It seems strange that the only one I seem to have missed was the one with my name on it.
My two favorites
The one picture I have of Andy permanently installing the diesel heater. Of course, I only took it because of the ‘67 Impala in the background. If only she were black 🖤
Baby - in plum
If you have to ask who Baby is, I will not respond. You'll have to do the finding on your own. It is quite a religious experience. I’ve spent 15 years in love with her.
Baby snapper
We have found many squished baby snapping turtles on our walks around the lake. Two have been alive, but barely. We helped them get across the road to the lake. This is our latest survivor.
Finally.
Our view of this parking lot entrance has been an endless source of wonder. We watched all spring and summer as people drove in on the left side of the entrance, regardless of whether there were other cars coming on the road or up to the stop sign. I was home alone, video editing, when I heard the plastic smash. I looked over my shoulder to see this. The white truck was driving down the road, the gray truck didn't see the white truck (HOW???) and attempted to turn into the parking lot on the left side. No one was hurt.
Tin Men
We passed these guys every day when we walked around the lake, and I told Andy that one day I was going to take a picture of them and post it on the local community facebook page. I finally did it, and it received almost 200 reactions and multiple sales for the gentleman. His grandchildren commented on the post, proudly identifying themselves, and the only thing I could think was “Well, if you’re so fucking proud then why was it a total stranger who posted this?!”
The bridge where Charles Thurber was lynched stood here.
Rose quartz from my sister, via a “pile of rocks" her friend dug up while landscaping.
“They're just rocks" her friend says, “Take whatever.”
Crossing the Mississippi.
